Special File Saving Guidelines

Main programs
Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw software. Files set up in these software packages may be saved in native format. Other packages

Please save/export files to EPS format with all placed images included or TIF, JPG, BMP, PS and PSD

Text
Please turn all text into paths/outlines General
Always ensure that all placed images are supplied with the set-up file.
Send all fonts (screen and printer) that have been used in the document.
Note: if you cannot supply fonts, all text must be made into paths/outlines before sending to us. Scaling
Files may be set-up to any scale, just ensure that height and length are correctly proportioned to the final size you require. Scans
Photoshop Images (or other scan type files)
If possible supply colour images as CMYK not RGB.

Please do not save scans as DCS (Digital Colour Separation) files; our own software will handle all separations.

The following formula gives an approximate guide to file sizes;
Finished print area in Inches² í 100 = File size in Mbytes (100 DPI AT SIZE)

Example: For an A0 size print:
(33.1" x 46.8") í 100 = 1550 í 100 = 15.5 Mbytes
